佐 藤 静 恵 Shizue SATO
埼玉県 出身
大学卒業後、中学校美術教諭などを経て大学院に進学しオーストラリアに留学。滞在中、日本と欧米におけるガラス造形の違いに興味を持ったことをきっかけに、現代工芸の研究を行う。
修了後、ガラス工房に勤務しながら技法研究を続け、現在の制作スタイルに至る。
2019年から金沢卯辰山工芸工房に研修者として所属。精力的に制作・発表活動を行う。
Place of birth: Saitama, Japan
After graduating from an art university and gaining experience as an art teacher in a junior high school, I went abroad to study in Australia while in graduate school. During my time there, I became interested in the differences of the notions of art held by Western culture and Japanese culture. This led to my research of glass art as contemporary KOGEI. Following graduate school, my current style came to be as I worked in a glass studio, studying original techniques. Since 2019, I have been a trainee in the glass studio of Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo and continue to create works and hold exhibitions with great energy and passion.
